MADISON, IN.–(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 13, 2012
The Jefferson County Treasurers’ office has added credit and debit cards to the list of acceptable payment methods. An agreement with PayGOV.US will allow customers to pay at the Treasurer’s office, over the Internet (http://jeffersoncounty.in.gov ) or via 24/7 LIVE operators at (866-480-8552).
County Treasurer Linda Greene researched several dozen vendors before deciding upon Indiana based PayGOV.US. “PayGOV is known throughout Indiana Counties as a great fit for government”, explained Greene, “After an extensive search I have yet to find another company who will provide the same level of customized service while indemnifying the County. We expect to work with them for years to come.” PayGOV.US is the preferred vendor for Indiana municipal government.
PayGOV.US, a leading provider of electronic payment options based in Indianapolis, Indiana and 2009 Indiana Companies to Watch Award Winner, has similar agreements with government entities and utilities in over 25 states.
