The City of Southport has partnered with Indiana based PayGOV.US to process electronic payments. The office joins a growing number of Indiana municipalities who have selected PayGOV. The program will allow customers to pay with credit or debit. Clerk Treasurer Alissa Newhouse and Deputy Clerk Treasurer Jane Vaughn led the effort to find a local vendor with experience serving government clients.
The expanded payment capability offers customer convenience. By partnering with PayGOV the City will better serve residents with cutting edge technology without bearing the cost. Customers can pay online, over the phone, in the City Hall and via PayGOV’s Mobile app. The Pay Location Code is PLC 38789.
