Town of Atlanta offers Online Payment!

The Town of Atlanta has moved forward on a plan to significantly expand customer payment options. Residents now can enjoy the convenience of paying their bills online. To pay your Atlanta, Indiana payment online simply go to (http://www.atlantaindiana.com). Credit and Debit card payments can also be made by phone (866-480-8552) or in person at the Utility Office.
Understanding the financial struggles many residents face the Town has been reviewing measures to reduce expenditures while improving customer service. One improvement that made sense was to start accepting Credit and Debit Cards. Unfortunately, there are expensive fees involved with accepting electronic payments. Unable to absorb the cost, but determined to find a solution, the Town reached out to other Cities and Towns for ideas. Overwhelmingly, PayGOV was recommended as the way to go. PayGOV (www.paygov.us) is the chosen vendor for Indiana Cities and Towns.
Clerk-Treasurer Robyn Cook is to be commended for the expansion of service. “The addition of credit cards has been a long time coming, and I’m extremely happy to offer convenient payment options without placing that cost on the Town,” explained Cook. “Residents have continually requested this and we are excited to begin!”
