Decatur County Recorder, Dottie Robbins has Partnered with PayGov to lower the convenience fee for the citizens that choose to pay with credit or with debit card to her department. Dottie has lowered the convenience from $3.50 for every transaction to just 1$ for every transaction under 33$ and just 3% for anything above 33$ saving her citizens 2.50$ for most transaction. The program will allow customers to pay with credit or debit online, over the phone, at the Recorder office, and via mobile app. The service is provided at no cost to the County and the convenience fee assessed is lower than the former provider.
The expanded payment capability offers customer convenience. By partnering with PayGOV the County will better serve residents with cutting edge technology without bearing the cost.
