BOSWELL, Indiana.–(BUSINESS WIRE)— April 27th, 2013
The Town of Boswell is offering new payment options. Residents can pay their utility bill online (www.paygov.us), over the phone (866-480-8552), or at the Town hall.
The Town had been researching online payments in an effort to improve customer service. Officials had considered several options but the costs to the Town were unrealistic. Residents are dealing with personal hardship and struggling financially and if accepting credit cards meant raising the costs on Boswell residents then the costs were too high. The Clerk/Treasurer’s office was determined to find a solution and reached out to other Towns. Overwhelmingly, the recommendation was for PayGOV.US. PayGOV is the preferred payments provider for Indiana Cities and Towns. Clerk/Treasurer Donna Musenbrock pioneered the search, “Our customers work hard and expect to be able to pay their Utilities at their convenience. At the same time we couldn’t justify the Town paying for the service.” explained Mrs. Musenbrock. “Thankfully, PayGOV came highly recommended as the solution to our problem! Best of all is the cost to the town – FREE!”
