The Town of Dyer goes mobile
The Town of Dyer is continually seeking ways to improve the customer experience. Several years ago the Town partnered with a leader in the payment industry, Indianapolis based PayGOV.US, to process electronic payments. This was part of a strategic, long-term goal for the community to modernize the connection between Town government and residents.
The goal has taken another step forward with the release of PayGOV’s new mobile application. Available for free on both the Google Playstore and Apple Itunes the app allows residents to pay their obligations to the Town from their phone or Ipad. The Town is also able, with the connection of a small card reader, to have their phones act as a mobile credit card machine.
It is a mutual focus on innovation and a commitment to excellence that brought the Town and PayGOV together years ago. And, it is the ongoing efforts by both parties to provide great service that continues to strengthen the partnership.

PayGOV.US assesses a nominal convenience fee processing these transactions. American Express®, MasterCard ®, Discover ® and VISA ® along with debit cards carrying a MasterCard ® or Visa ® are accepted by the program. Citizens using credit cards with bonus rewards programs can, depending on their card’s program, earn rewards, points, and cash-back on airline frequent flyer miles.
